From a pretty young age, I loved handcrafting cards and paper crafts. It started with hamburger fold, hand-drawn construction paper cards to cardstock and calligraphy, to my scrapbook inspired cards. Please excuse my amateur photography skills

Chronicles Of A Shoe-Obsessed Bride, Part 2

Now that my shoe obsession has been properly established , you can fully appreciate the story of how I found the perfect wedding shoes that weren’t. Upon getting engaged last March, the shoe search began. Around the same time I also began looking for wedding inspiration pictures, and looked at everything tagged “purple” on TheKnot.com .

Baylor Bliss!

Sarah and Hunter met and fell in love at Baylor University.  So … there was never any question that they would return to Waco to be married at the Truett Theological Seminary Chapel. Helping them pull all of the beautiful wedding details ~ and the wedding floral design together ~ were Becca & Kerri, the Little Black Book super-stars at A Stylish Soiree . The reception was held at The Phoenix Ballroom in Waco.

Vintage Hawaii Wedding by Beloved Weddings

A lot of people may not know this, but prior to moving to Los Angeles, I spent a few years living on the island of Maui. And truth be told, that’s where one might even find a little piece of my heart floating around. This is especially the case when I see blissful images like the ones below from Beloved Weddings

Wedding Photo Checklist – Part III – The Process

To me these are images of the process, because they’re not necessarily of people. Rather, they’re images of people throughout the wedding day process. You see “process” through these pictures because the people are doing more than going through the motions

Jessica Claire Photography Workshop, Part II

Although we’ve already debuted this amazing travel themed photography workshop that Jessica Claire put together, we thought it might be fun to see some of the work that the students did…and by students, I =mean really talented ladies and gents that just wanted to soak up a bit of Jessica Claire’s workshop. But before we do that, here are a few more images from Jessica of the gorgeous day

The Engagement Photos

Mr. Lace and I looked high and low for a great, yet budget-friendly photographer. After looking through recommendations of friends, combing through wedding websites and reading and following blogs, I was ready to give up and just settle for a DECENT photographer, despite the fact that many of our married friends said to make sure we got a good photographer no matter the cost

Oklahoma Wedding by Aaron Snow

I’ve never ventured to Oklahoma but after pouring over the images from today’s wedding, I think I am in need of a visit. The fields alone are enough to make me book a ticket. They definitely don’t make them like that in Southern California.

Austin Wedding by Jennifer Lindberg

I really wish that I was half as cool as this couple. From the fashion to the venue, every little bit of style that they chose is just so freaking cool. It makes me a little bit jealous actually.

Lindsey and Jonathan (Wedding)

What a whirlwind of a weekend weather wise… Not only did it snow down here (Yes, snow in Savannah!!) but the following day, the sun and gorgeous blue skies graced us for Lindsey and Jonathan’s wedding day. Just perfect weather after a day filled with rain and snow! You might remember Lindsey and Jonathan from their romantic beach engagement session … They first met about 6 years ago on their first class of college.  They were both architecture majors at Georgia Tech.  Lindsey and Jonathan became instant friends and were even teamed up to do their very first project together.  Which Lindsey told me, they flirted the whole time throughout the project.  Though they were great friends throughout college, Jonathan had to wait for Lindsey, as she was already in a relationship.  It took a couple years but Lindsey finally came to her senses, and finally started dating Jonathan.  The two of them continued their education and both received their master’s degrees together from Georgia Tech

Sprinkle Soiree: The Ceremony (Kids and Kisses!)

Before we get to the big grand finale moment of the ceremony, let’s chat a bit about kidlets. Whether or not you have children as a part of your ceremony, or guests at your wedding, is a totally personal decision. However, I am a huge advocate for having kids present! Just remember, if they are present, they will get bored during the ceremony

French Wedding By Belathee, II

Whenever I get weddings like these, it’s almost impossible for me to show off the photographs in a way that makes me completely happy. There is just so much beauty, so much sweetness poured into every image, it’s like picking my favorite pair of shoes. Impossible.

French Wedding by Belathee

My poor, sweet husband. After seeing today’s featured wedding that Belathee sent over, I am officially going to start bugging him about renewing our vows. For no other reason that to have a wedding just like this one.
