I was lucky enough to catch the last half of The King Khan & BBQ Show  during this year’s Sled Island festival; We were actually at the bar to check out the grease-kings themselves Monotonix .  The Canadian band has this really cool doo-wop/punk/garage-rock feel that made me think I was at a really sweaty Buddy Holly show, if Buddy Holly had of found cocaine before he found Peggy Sue .  Waddlin’ Around can be found on the band’s 2007 self-titled album, released via the American indie label In the Red Records .
